Wisconsin prosecutor Michael Griesbach chronicles the case against Steven Avery, now featured in the Netflix series “Making a Murderer,” in his book The Innocent Killer: A True Story of a Wrongful Conviction and its Astonishing Aftermath.
Griesbach was employed during the aftermath of Avery’s wrongful rape conviction and set in motion the events that exonerated him by taking DNA evidence to the Attorney General’s office. He fills me in on what life is like now in Mantiwoc WI, and what the film didn’t say about Avery.
